BIO
- Gerald Guapo Clarke was born and raised in San Jose Costa Rica. At
age 12 he moved to the US. He graduated from High School, honored as the
most outstanding student in Art department and with an honor roll
diploma. As a teen he was trained at SDA and continued to train with the
Cleveland ballet and performed in numerous off broadway shows. At the
same time he performed with the Cleveland Cavaliers Scream team during
the half time shows.
He
has taught classes from the early age of 15 years old. After High
school, he moved to NYC where he graduated from the Art Institute of New
York City with a major in Graphic Design and minor in Fashion
Merchandise.
Meanwhile
he was danced and worked with artist such as Jay-Z, Omarion, Rihanna,
Neyo and more. He's done both International and National campaigns for
Pepsi, Nokia, Dr.Pepper, Disney/Pixar and more. He has also worked in TV
and film projects such as "Step Up 3D" Allegra welcomes Guapo to the
staff and after a hugely successful Summer 2012 of teaching at Allegra
his following has already begun.
